March has turned out to be a really terrible month. First my computer picked up a nasty bug and now I have a bug - meaning a cold. For the first two nights I was awake with a sore throat that burned with each breath or swallow. It was really annoying to say the least and nothing seemed to help. That finally went away yesterday and I thought I was finally going to get a decent night's sleep. But alas, it was not meant to be. Nope, a headache developed and that's far WORST. I normally don't get headaches and the banging in my forehead kept me up all night. And it seems that every 5 minutes I have to blow my nose.

The worst thing is I haven't had a single cold all winter. I was careful to dress properly, drink lots of fruit juice each day, etc. And now to end up sick anyway...

Like I stated above, my computer had a bug as well for most of this month. It was some sort of browser hijacker that kept taking me to look at stupid ads for cell phones, quizes like 'guess this celebrity's real name', other moronic stuff I wasn't interested in at all. PLUS I was getting bombarded with pop-up ads as well! Sometimes as many as 4 ads popped up on my screen all at once, trying to load at the same time. The result was my computer freezing up and crashing. It was also erasing my browser history so each time the ad appeared I had to close the browser window and start all over again. It was really driving me nuts as I couldn't go ANYWHERE on the net without these things popping up and creating these ads. I tried anti-virus, anti-adware, online virus scans, EVERYTHING. Nothing seemed to know what the bug was. Finally at a computer forum I was told it was wink.exe and about:blank. The bugs are gone and my computer is working like new again - now if only my cold would go away!

What I don't get is why people create these stupid ads. Why bombard my computer with ads for cell phones or promise free TVs if I answer a quize correctly? I'm not interested in their products. If I want a thing, I will go buy it myself. I'm sure most people do the same. And I highly doubt if their so-called 'prizes' are real: it's probably a scam. Or perhaps if you click on the ad it will download a virus onto your computer...

Anyway, I hope the month of April will be better.
